London Baby!! 09-12/02 2012

As I lived in the UK (not more than half an hour from London) for 4 months (it was meant to be 8, but I quit :) (long story)) Sayu and Mi Mi wanted to visit me :) (so did Ici but she didn’t have the money).

In the Danish winter break they came over, for the weekend and till Tuesday :) I got off from work (au pair) except Monday evening (but we get to that xD ).

I went up early Saturday morning to go all the way to Gatwick to pick up me gurls xD at 13:00 they came out to great me <3 

We took the train into London (Waterloo - then to Bayswater) and arrived and checked in at our hotel/apartment at 15:00.

After Sayu and Mi Mi (aka Maknae-line) had played hide and seek in the wardrobe, Mi Mi was done playing with the pans and we had taken a little walk around the area - we changed into our Kigurumis (Mi Mi borrowed my pig :) ) and we found a McDonald to get some lunch (at 17:00) xD we went to Buckingham Palace. Sayu ended up in a tree, as bats sleeps in trees… but she couldn’t get down xD We walked around in the park and walked all the way to Big Ben and London Eye, where there were a carousel xD (the same Minho was on 2 months earlier) 

We took the train to Tower bridge, or well, I look wrong so we went too far, and a nice Irish man told us when to get off the train xD (a little Asian boy pulled in Mi Mi’s pig tail and asked us if we were going to Fastelavn – which is a Danish tradition! Funny to meet other Danes xD )

Waiting for the train at an empty tube station we danced – as we always do xD and the train came – and honked at us!! A train!! xD We were ‘Ayyy Gurl’ed’ by a train!! (if you don’t know that reference you should check out eatyourkimchi like now! xD) We got back to Bayswater (before that a man was filming us at an escalator, and we were out-weirded by a drunken birthday party in one of the tubes(they commented on the pig)) and we quickly bought some thing we could eat – malteseres and some toast, nutella and Coco Pops and milk.

It was around 21:00 and we were hungry… Because I think I saw a ‘Pizza Express’ somewhere when we walked around the aria of our hotel, I sent us out on a wild goose chase… we was walking for about an hour before we actually found one ^^’ sorry girls <3

When we came back to the hotel we called Ici on skype :) it was 01:00 when we went to bed xD

 

The morning after it was around 09:00 when we woke up – it was the 10^th February – the Chinese New Year – so we dressed up in kigurumis (this time Mi Mi borrowed mu skeleton and I got the pig :) ) and went to China Town. There were so many people and we missed the parade – but we got dumplings and something we’ve seen on the internet – which didn’t tasted very good – or it had a weird consistency. A Taiwanese girl saw us and wanted to interview us for a Taiwanese school magazine (page 5) We went into some stores, to look at cool stuff, and hopefully find some K-Pop (we didn’t find any) But we did hear a store which played Bigbang xD and at the same one we heard HyunA’s Change (which we love ‘cuz G.O ). We saw this cute funny thing (the one on the picture) and our face just lid up as it waved at us, and the lady standing next to it (it was some sort of advertisement thing) saw that and asked if we wanted a picture with it, before we even said anything xD Thank you for that :) (and yes – we are 5 years old!!). The Lion came by as well (we know nothing of Chinese New Year, but it went to every store and ate some cabbage they had hung up at the doors) so we waited as we of course wanted to see it dance :) as they made people move to make space for it to come through a random dude walked out and obviously took a picture of us – we know we’re weird – we know we attract attention – but plz just ask for a photo – we wouldn’t mind. At a very busy place, as we just came out from a store and all of London was trying to see the Lion, as we were trying to get out, a lady, walking behind us, was so happy to see our costumes, and she asked what we were and stuff xD great – love to meet happy people, who likes to talk to us ‘cuz we’re weird xD

At around 14:00 we went to Camden. It was raining but we were warm in our kigurumis and didn’t get wet at all (it was only lightly raining xD ). We walked around the marked, look at stuff – I bought a panda bag with speakers, and Sayu bought a cat xD (and then we ran around to find a place to buy batteries (and when we did a man in the store was very happy as to see such crazy people as us xD)). We met a black rapper, who wanted to sell us his cd – and we didn’t wanted to – but we are all SO bad at refusing people like that so we spent a good 10 min on talking to him somehow trying to tell him no (Sayu said: “We went Korean and never went back” as he kept saying “once you go black you never go back” xD) he was fun though :) We also ran into a group of French people, who wanted a picture with us :) and a girl asking us about where we bought our Kigurumies. A man wanted me to grunt… and another man in a store pulled in my pig tail!! xD

At around 16:00 we went shopping for candy xD we brought it back to our hotel – eat some coco pops (almost getting kicked out of the hotel – ups) before we headed towards London Eye (on the way there we met a nice lady asking if we was cold in our costumes, but we told her no, and before she walked away she said “Happy Chinese New Year” :) )

We were up in London eye just around 19:30 so it was dark at that point – which was good ‘cuz it was beautiful – and it was bad ‘cuz it was SO hard to take decent pictures. Afterwards we went to Piccadilly Circus (which is SO fun when the speakers in the tube say it xD ) and we found the shop called Tokyo Toys – it was in some sort of center with gaming machines and stuff – and we ran around in there for a while xD (that’s where the picture of us with glasses is from xD ) We also went back to China Town, and a girl saw us walking while we were dancing to some K-Pop and she ran in to pick up her camera and se filmed us dancing MBLAQ’s Stay :)

We went to McDonalds that night as well – after we ate we wanted a McFlurry each, and as we came back to our table (which no longer was over crowded since shortly after we arrived a lady almost sat on Sayu -.-‘) some younger pop girls was trying to get in contact with us – but we ignored them – and we heard one of them say bitch!! As we walked out a guy put his hand on Mi Mi’s shoulder and said something like “That’s so nice,” or something, in the gayest way possible xD so nice xD

We were dancing around a statue near Piccadilly Circus tube station – and some random dudes were cheering at us xD also as we walked around people, standing outside clubs, wanted us to party in their clubs… why? We were dressed weird – aren’t their job to get pretty girls in their clubs??!! xD

We went back to the hotel to watch Tobuscus xD and it was 03:00 before we went to bed xD

 

Monday we dressed normally – as we were going home to me in the evening. We wanted to see if there were K-Pop in HMV on Oxford street (as we had heard so from Danish friends) and got really disappointed as we only found an old TVXQ Japanese album – and some SNSD in Japanese as well… (but as we looked lost at Oxford street a man asked us if he could help – it was literally his job to help lost tourist xD that was really nice :) ) We then (after the disappointment) wanted some Ben&Jerry’s – ‘cuz we saw a store the night before – but of cause that was closed -.-‘ so Mi Mi and Sayu gathered all their pennies and bought me some glasses (as they bought some the night before) and we then went to the M&M’s store. And there we bought malteseres Ice cream!!

We took the train to Waterloo and then to Claygate (Mi Mi fell asleep xD ) – we walked those 20 min to my house, and where there around 15:00. I showed them around the house and they helped me empty the dishwasher :) We picked up Oliver at 16:30 and as I cooked and worked Sayu and Mi Mi hid on my bathroom floor – no shit!! They felt how uncomfortable that house was.. any who :) at 18:00 I was of and we went back to London :)

We meet a friend of Sayu and me(Jucchan), and her friend (Tanya), and we went on a pup to eat some dinner :) We went back to the hotel and changed into kigurumies again, then went back to China Town. We walked around Oxford Street – and decided that we could walk home through hide park… but no one told us that closes at night… after messing around – being crazy – posing for people taking pictures of us – got ‘ayy gurl’ed by two bicycles and a taxi and a car – crossing a dangerous road – walking way to much – we found a bus – and sitting right at the front in a double-decker bus is way too fun xD

It was 04:30 before we went to bed… We packed our stuff before we went to bed.

 

Tuesday I said goodbye to them at Victoria Station, because I didn’t have the money to follow them all the way to Gatwick. … the rest we don’t talk about :*

 

Thank you gurlys for a lovely break and a wonderful holiday :* :* Every time we were feeling tired or low something/someone came up and said something nice or people took pictures of us and then we got all our energy back xD it was so great!! Thanks <3 <3
